Unless you are referring to or indicating someone who is much older than you or someone with whom you are not too familiar with, "이 쪽" is fine. Just keep in mind "이 분" is much more polite way of saying it.

You can use “이분은 ~ 입니다”.
And you can also use “ 이쪽은 ~ 입니다”.
‘이 분’ is formal expression and ‘이 쪽’ is more informal expression than ‘이 분’
