Please show me example sentences with angry . Tell me as many daily expressions as possible.

If someone is very angry, what kind of the most common idioms used? I'd appreciate some examples.

"Hit the ceiling/roof", "About to explode". Are these idioms widely-used?

When you can't see the person the expression doesn't fit, because it is impossible to see a reaction over the phone(as we know).
You could say somethin like this though!
"I bet his eyes lit up when he heard that"

-She was angry at him for letting her cat out.
-He was angry he didn't get the part in the play, but knew they made the right choice.
-They were angry when the parade got rained out.

As far as idioms, if someone gets angry and you can actually see the anger appear on their face, or can visibly see their transition of mood(mostly in their eyes) you can say "His(or her) eyes lit up when he heard that." Or just plain "His eyes lit up."

Thanks ahs! How about if I can't see his face but can hear his voice (talk on the phone)? I still can use "lit up"?

His eyes lit up when I say we don't cut off calls from customers!

You could say somethin like this though!
