This answer isC, but I thought A is correct too.It’s because “be doing “means near future. Please tell me why A is incorrect??

"That bag looks heavy"は looks を使うので、日本語だと「そのカバンは重そうだね…」になります。looks / そうをつけているので、今は自分まだ持ってないということですね。"I am -ing"は今〇〇しているという意味なので、この場合はダメです。
