実は正確に言えば韓国語に '바닷밑'と言う単語は存在しません。
'바다 밑'が正確な表現です。
しかし、'사이시옷법칙' (サイシオットの法則) は韓国でも難しい法則なので正確に知っている韓国人があまりいません。検索してみればわかりますが、바닷밑も바다 밑も使われています。
国立国語院の説明を加えます。
(1）後ろの言葉は硬音声が聞こえる。
(2) 後ろの言葉の最初の音は「ㄴ, ㅁ」の前で「ㄴ」という音が聞こえる。
(3）後ろの言葉の母音の前で「ㄴㄴ」の音が聞こえる。
この條件を備えても、もう一つ要件が必要だ。
合成語を成す構成要素のうち、少なくとも一つは固有語であり、構成要素の中に外来語がないことである。
