Question about English (US)
I don’t like chatting everyday with someone. Even if it’s a friend. Because it takes me away a lot of time.
Does it sounds correct and natural ? Could you please correct it ? Thank you.

It makes sense, but it doesn’t sound natural.
Instead, say “I don’t like talking to people everyday, even if it’s a friend, because it takes up a lot of my time.”
“Talking” is more natural than “chatting”
When you say “everyday”, you need to be describing an activity, and “talking to people” sounds more natural than “chatting with someone”
Finally, “takes me away a lot of time” is incorrect. Instead you could say “takes away a lot of my time”. However, it’s not natural to say “takes away” when describing time. Instead you would say “takes up”
