I think it depends :)
Usually the easiest language for anyone to learn is the language their parents speak since that's what they might grow up hearing, but it really does depend.
For example, I'm Filipino and am fluent in Tagalog (the Filipino language). When I had to learn Spanish for school, it was easier for me to learn it since Tagalog is kind of similar to Spanish.
I imagine it might also be the same for Koreans who learn Chinese as some words or phrases are derived from Chinese.

@_honey I think Koreans find Japanese easier to learn than Chinese because the grammars are similar.
But yes, it depends on what language you already speak or what kind of environment you’re in, right?

Ahh okay. And yes that's true.
I think how easy or how difficult a language is depends on maybe the alphabet, how the grammar works, and even pronunciation

@_honey yes pronunciation could be the key. English has many different kinds of sounds that Japanese doesn’t, which makes it really difficult to speak English for Japanese:(

Yeah I could understand that :( Even my parents have a hard time sometimes since English is not their first language
But at least it looks like you really understand English! You text very well 😊

@_honey my parents don’t speak any language other than Japanese so that’s not really a problem! 😂
