Question about Finland
I know Finland is one of the best countries in education, so I'd like to know:
How is the system of study in Finland (especially in high school )? What is the average study hours for any Finnish student?

Theres vocational and upper secondary. I went to upper secondary school so I cant talk about vocational. In upper secondary you have to complete at least 75 courses and pass the final matriculation examination (min 4 different exams (you choose which subjects you do)).
Aside from mandatory courses, you can quite freely choose what you want to study (well min 75 courses so you have to study something). 3 years is the normal graduation time but you can do it 4 years or maybe even slower. I studied sciences and stuff and did something like 86 courses in 3 years. 1 course is 30 hours if I remember correctly. So the study hours are pretty low.
You could take homeworks and other assingments into account but I didn't really do any homework so I would say my study hours in upper secondary were about 86*30 hours in 3 years, so not too much.
Oh I forgot to mention the last year is pretty much only half a year of school since normally we complete all of the courses by february. The rest of the year is studying for the matriculation exams.
I think the average is about 77 courses and that would be something like 6-7 hours of studying on weekdays

From my experience you go to school at the 8am and school might end in 1pm to 2pm in high school which are grades 7-9.
And if we talk about the vocational school (Different majors) the school days are from 8-9am (Some students school might start at 10am as well) to 12-4pm depending on what they study and teachers how they schedule days. (This one is called ammattikoulu)
