I usually prefer soft-boiled eggs, however I have enjoyed the taste of hard-boiled taste before.
What are you responding to exactly? My sentence is still a little messy.

A little unnatural
I usually like soft-boiled eggs, but when I tried a hard-boiled egg for the first time, it actually wasn't so bad.
