It’s the opposite of English grammar;
Personally I’m Vietnamese so it’s a bit easier for me as the two languages use the same construction in a sentence. Ex) Noun + Adj. and not the other way around

I think so....but listening and speaking is hard also

I'm a thai learner. I think the tenses and so on are really easy cause a verb never change like:
"I go" will be "He goes". In thai its always ไป. For past tense you only use words like yesterday or last week and the verb to show past tense or ได้ไป or with มา in the end to show the past.
For me the tones was really hard. I bought a grammar book for thai students and for me it was really hard to learn the tone rules and how to speak out the tones.
I would say Thai language is principle easy but the tones are really hard for someone who dont speak a tonal language
