Trump kept labeling the epidemic as a “‘hoax’ that was created by the Democratic Party to create fear”. This lead to his followers thinking the epidemic is fake so they aren’t wearing masks, social distancing, or quarantining. Plus, there are people still going out and partying. Yes, I think it’s impossible to save us unless these people start listening to the health administration.

It's complicated. I think it's impossible while our president does not stress the danger of the virus. He keeps telling people that the sickness rates are going down, and masks are not legally required, so many people resist wearing them.
