exprime une certaine exaspération / un certain énervement de Nicolas d'entendre Marie-Edwige raconter qu'elle a eu un petit copain pendant les vacances.

il se demande bien pourquoi elle a dit ça.
" à me raconter des tas de blagues"
Ici, " des tas de blagues " est plutôt utilisé dans le sens " des tas de mensonges ".
Soit il n'y croit pas si elle a pour habitude de mentir ou d'exagérer les faits.
Soit il refuse d'y croire s'il est jaloux car il a des sentiments pour elle ou que lui-même n'a apparemment pas rencontré qui que ce soit.
Cela dépend du reste de l'histoire

Nicolas is upset because Marie-Edwige told him that she had a boyfriend during the holidays.
He wonders why she said that.
He thinks she's telling him lies and he refuses to believe her.
He's jealous because he's in love with her.
Est-ce que cela vous paraît correct?
