Today I went to the gym and I think I worked out really hard. I think I pushed myself to my limit and consequently my arms are in pain right now.
Please help me with my misspelling!

The spelling is correct.
The English is OK. For my taste, it's a little wordy. I would have said "Today I went to the gym and worked out really hard. I pushed myself to my limit, so my arms hurt right now." but of course, different people say things differently. You should use the words you feel comfortable with.

^ sounds more natural.
there wasn't anything wrong with the sentence but it was just a little too stiff and 'posh'.

The spelling is correct.
The English is OK. For my taste, it's a little wordy. I would have said "Today I went to the gym and worked out really hard. I pushed myself to my limit, so my arms hurt right now." but of course, different people say things differently. You should use the words you feel comfortable with.
