Phonetically, they are the same, but they form different words, and they are not exchangeable in writing.

Sorry, my answer was incomplete. は(romaji: ha) changes its sound between ha and wa depending on how it's used (i.e. in what word it's used).
- Japanese
"ha" is the pronunciation of hiragana は
"wa"
a) pronunciation of hiragana は when it's a particle.
b) it's hiragana わ.
"wo" is hiragana を
"o" is hiragana お
You should forget Romaji writing system completely if you learned Hiragana already in order to escape from the confusion above.

@mijinko hmm... I see... a little.. it seems like a difficult concept, but I think I understand why now I just have to understand when ahahah thank you so much!! 😁😁😊😊😊 私はあなたの助けに感謝します!

They have the same way to pronounce. We distinguish them like the following.
We use は(ha) as a postpositional particle between each word. Basically わ(wa) doesn't make sense alone. It's included in the letter at words.
を(wo) is also a postpositional particle and we usually use it after an object.
お(o) cannot be used alone like わ with the same reason.
わたしは おにぎりを 食べます。
I eat a rice ball.

@y_toshi I am learning hiragana now, but I do not know all of them quite yet. I understand what you are saying for "WA" thank you so much!!! But for "wo" why do so e people use/say "o"?

@mingey Thank you for answering!!! Can I ask you this, "I eat a rice ball." is English grammer, but if I wanted to translate into Japanese it would be more something like "A rice ball, is what I eat."? It is reversed grammer?

@mykel777:
> for "wo" why do so e people use/say "o"?
"wo" is hiragana を
"o" is hiragana お
Those pronunciation is the SAME, "o".
The "w" as in "wo" (を) is just as a mark to distinguish it from "o" (お).
You should know that the Romaji system does not shows correct pronounce of this language. The Romaji system does not born on the purpose. It's just an "attempt" created by foreigner to express this language with Latin alphabet.

@y_toshi I think I understand thank you!!! So the "w" in "wo" is Is to distinguish it from being a particle?

@mykel777:
> So the "w" in "wo" is Is to distinguish it from being a particle?
1) Japanese language has tow "o". They are お and を.
2) ”w" has been added to "o" of を to distinguish it from お in Romaji system.
3) As a result "wo" shows a particle in Romaji system because hiragana を is always particle.
