I don't know the context, but skjuter can also mean push. I push everything just a few metres.
Also, drar can mean either pull or go away. So I guess there's some wordplay going on.

what hallstrom wrote is correct. I just wanted to add that "skjuta" if used in conjunction with "upp" (up) or "fram" (forward) "skjuta upp/fram" to mean "postpone/schedule for later" but skjuta fram can also mean to push forward
p.s. skjuta can also mean to shoot it's dependent on context
One more thing, I think Veronica Maggio has a lot of lyrics that can be hard for even native speakers to know exactly what she is singing about. She likes to create lyrics with double meaning.

@daniel1609 This is a very late reply, but I love this song so much so I feel like I should answer it haha. The word "skjuta" can mean shoot, but also push or postpone, usually when it is followed by "upp", but sometimes "upp" is omitted— like in lyrics that need to fit a certain melodic pattern. For example "Kan vi skjuta (upp) det till måndag?" which means " Can we postpone it to monday?"
In my interpretation, she means that she pushes everyone and everything a few metres away, in the sense that she doesn't want to feel intimacy or grow close to anyone. This would make sense in the context of the rest of the song, as well as the next line "Och sen är jag den som drar" which means "And then I'm the one who leaves". "Drar" can mean to pull, but it can also mean to leave (more slang usage).
So a more figurative translation of the lyrics are "I push everyone away from me, and then I leave."
