Do thai people usually speak thai and English within the same sentence?
I have a few thai friends and they all add in thai words when speaking English.
I'm just wondering if this is a thai thing or if they are just doing it because they know im trying to learn thai 😅

I think Thai language is partially transliterated from English such as computer,battery,bar,cake etc(Thai accent). and I ever say like that somtimes I say " Iขอกินcakeด้วยนะคะ/นะครับ". and sometimes I say Chinese+Thai+English ="今天ว่าจะไปbuy something แต่ก็ไม่ไปแหละ 因为下雨 ".I think it's fun It has also helped my friend and I improve their language learning with each other. But sometimes when have class, I tend to forget and I like to use the phrases I say to my friends in class. lol

@SikanButter That makes alot of sense! I do it with English and Thai while speaking but ill simply repeat the word I said before to help me learn better. Thank you!!!!

I do add very few Thai words when I use English to speak with my foreign friends sometimes Lol. For me, it’s a bit of Thai thing but if you are learning Thai, I think your friends are helping you :D

Yes, there are many words in English that we use in daily life, we are even familiar to it than some of Thai words. Most of the English words that we used in stead of Thai are usually eatable stuffs from foreign countries.
