Uhm well, no one likes swear words, so probably don't use those. Try not to use "tu" when you're talking with a stranger; in this case the polite form of "tu" is "lei" (literally "she"). And don't say things that aren't swear words but are rude like "stai zitto!"
Except for the "lei" thing, it's the same as in every other language...

Remember, when you read Italian words be sure to pronounce the double letters. I.e. the word "anno, anni" (year, years) changes dramatically its meaning if you pronounce It with only one "n".
