Dependiente es cualquier persona que trabaja en una tienda pero vendedor se utiliza solo en las tiendas donde se vende algo.
Por ejemplo, en un spa, la persona que trabaja ahí es un dependiente pero no un vendedor porque no vende nada. En una tienda de ropa, seria lo mismo dependiente que vendedor porque se vende ropa.
