What is the difference between auf and über ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
What is the difference between auf and über ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
In my understanding, “Über dem Tisch” is OK. But the answer on the text book was “Auf dem Tisch”.
The whole sentence:
Auf dem Tisch liegt ein kleiner roter Apfel.
The whole sentence:
Auf dem Tisch liegt ein kleiner roter Apfel.

Bei deinem beispiel:
Auf dem Tisch=mit kontakt zum Tisch
Über dem tisch= schwebend oder hängend oder ähnlich aber ohne Kontakt zum tisch
