I only the obvious ones which you can find in every single video about what not to do in Japan. I'm sick of hearing them.
Don't pass food between them,
Don't leave your chopsticks stabbed into food standing upright (I did this knowing this was bad and my Japanese friend just did a silly scream)
Some from me:
Do expect Japanese people to say you're really good at using them.
Do expect Japanese people to tell you the correct way to use them if you're using them wrong.
Don't feel scared to ask for fork instead, but don't get annoyed when every Japanese persn will give you a fork without even asking. They're trying to be accommodating.

You mustn't stick you're chopsticks into a bowl of rice unless you're at a funeral.
