Not always. It depends on the woman. Sometimes she doesn't even change her name when she gets married

Most women still take their husbands last name. But it's becoming more common to keep their name, or hyphonate their name, than it was in the past.

A majority of women take their husband's name, or hyphenate to combine theirs and their husband's. Children from that marriage almost always take their father's last name. There is also a large segment that don't take their husband's name for various reasons (so it's not that uncommon).
