hmm.. it definitely isn't very common to say "hei hei" as a greeting, but it could be possible. I wouldn't use it though, "hei" is the go-to greeting usually

Depending on the context and the tone of voice multiple heis (~1–4) are also used when you want to interrupt someone or get someone's attention (e.g. when worried that something bad might happen).
For example:
[someone aggressively accusing someone of something]
– Hei hei hei, olisiko nyt aika rauhoittua ja vetää hieman henkeä?
= Hei hei hei, would it be time to calm down and take a breather?
[children not listening to their teacher and making a lot of noise]
– Hei hei, olkaas nyt hiljaa!
= Hei hei, be quiet now!

Hei - Hi
Hei hei - Bye bye
Other greetings include moi, moro, morjens, terve, hejsan. Other ways to say bye include heippa, heido (from swedish hejdå), moi moi and moikka.

@suomisverige Is there any differwnce between them for example are some of these formal etc.?

@polyglotwannabe25 Well saying hei as a greeting is quite formal, though saying hei hei as a goodbye is not. For me, moro and morjens sound way too informal and I never use them (though many people do and I'm in the minority). All greetings/goodbyes work, hei is just a bit formal. If you're in a formal conversation, you can say hei or terve as a greeting and hei hei as a goodbye.

@suomisverige in what situations would we use moro, morjens?
- English (US) Near fluent
- Finnish
@polyglotwannabe25 In any informal context. Many Finns use them. I just never use them because they sound too "Finnish" for me, as I grew up in a partially Swedish speaking household.
