@stephanie099099: GUAJOLOTE se puede decir que es un regionalismo. Debido a que es una voz nahuatl, solo se usa en los lugares donde existe la influencia de esta cultura. Por lo que se usa casi en todo México. Pero en otros paises por lo regular tienen otros términos para el mismo animal. La mayoría de los paises hispanohablantes reconoce el nombre PAVO.

Guajolote comes from Nahuatl (Aztec language) but there is no diference.
