When saying goodnight in Japanese, would I use words like おやすみ and おやすみなさい?the app where I am learning Japanese from is saying that 「やすみなさい、また明日」sounds natural.

「やすみなさい」is wrong.
Both おやすみなさい and おやすみ are very natural and no big difference.
おやすみなさい is slightly polite in general.
「おやすみ、また明日」and 「おやすみなさい、また明日」are also natural.
