You can use both for different things and it be okay. Into in a sentence is, " I am going into the store." or inside can work as well. This is confusing because for that one you can use both but if you are already inside, this is what it would be, " I am inside the store." If your. it inside yet your going into.

if you are inside you do not use into. mom, are you going into the store? No, I am already inside. When you are going into something you are not in it yet. I hope that helps.
