Question about United Kingdom
Is Josephine sounds like an American name or a British one? Is that weird to name Josephine in England but have a British accent?
I love the character Jo in Little Women but she was American and I may study abroad in England in the future so I don’t know whether it’s proper.
And btw, I’d like to know the feeling that this name brings, and also the meaning of it. I’d like to know whether the name fits me haha.
Thanks a lot! Thank you so much!

Josephine doesn't sound particularly American or British to me. It's a nice name though 👍

The only US/UK difference is in how the nickname for Josephine - ‘Josie’ - is pronounced.
Americans pronounce it as: “Jo-Zee”
British people pronounce it as: “Jo-See”

I would say Josephine isn’t more British or American. It’s a really pretty name though and people could call you Jo or Josie for short! 😁
