@rhenn got it, probably that guy refered nono didn't have any idea about what he was saying, like if respect women doesn't fit to him (which is so wrong, you always must) so yeah, the idea is the same of "caber", to fit something in somewhere in this case, his mind

Mmm I'm not sure about what you want to say but I think it could be like some thing didn't fit on/in him(?)
Maybe your are talking about some clothing and that person couldn't put any part of its body on it or jewelry like a ring or necklage, there are other situations
Or in general, something is so big or small (depending about you are talking about) for Nono to wear, eat or other verbs that imply to put something inside in another thing
- Spanish (Mexico) Near fluent
"la camisa no le cabía porque estaba muy pequeña"
"la hamburguesa no le cabía en su boca porque estaba muy grande"

@Did_93 thank you. it's just a response to someone wishing the women of his family a happy women's day. what you said is what i thought it meant but i felt like it didn't match up as an appropriate response? idk.

@rhenn it can, I won't ask what exactly you wrote to them in your response because it's not my bussiness hahaha
but if you want, you can give an example just changing for another situation, anyway you are trying your best, so don't worry

@Did_93 well, I wasn't the one they were conversing with. someone posted something on a forum. the man, nono, who wished them a hwd was being disgusting because he was saying that that the women in the family should be thankful for their husbands as they aren't usually drunk, etc. someone then said "no le cabía al nono"
