I’m not clear what the context is here, but here are a couple of examples with the appropriate tenses:
1. Somebody just said something that changed your mind:
“Now that you’ve mentioned that, I reckon that...”
2. Somebody said something in a previous meeting, which changed your mind:
“After you mentioned that, I changed my mind / understood X better, and now I think that...”
