I have already seen that film. ( already saw ....)
I haven't seen that film yet. ( don't see •••• yet)
or
I have seen that film (×yet) = I saw .... ( result ) / I saw .... ( experience )

1. I have already seen that film = You saw the film (past tense).
and
2. I haven't seen that film yet = You did not see the film (but "yet" denotes that you probably will eventually see it).

Seems like the 2nd one is more a question or should be.
"Have you seen that film yet?". This could be used in a conversation with a friend about a movie.
