- Cuando dices para siempre, significa que será "eterno" de aquí EN ADELANTE. Con vistas al futuro únicamente. Por ejemplo: "Seremos amigas para siempre" Ahí no influye en nada el pasado, verdad?? Que sean amigas para siempre no significa que fueran amigas antes .
- Cuando dices por siempre, también puede influir el pasado. Te refieres a algo que ha estado pasando hasta esa fecha, y que seguirá pasando. "Estarán destinados por siempre". Desde el comienzo de sus días (pasado) hasta el día de su muerte (presente)
Aún así, es un poco raro todo. Puedes usar las dos preposiciones cuando te apetezca, no hay margen de equivocación porque prácticamente son iguales
