I have been also working as a volunteer in different types of cultural, educational and open-source projects and programs, and I look forward to migrating to this line of work full-time. Does this sound natural?

@42piratas people don't really say "line of activities." "Line of work" is most commonly used. (And it should be "in this line of work." Not "on this line of work")
