Everything is possible, it is a matter of how possible.

It's possible, there are workplaces here that use English as an in house language. But living here will be difficult if you don't know any Finnish.

@AlvaroB a lot of people do speak English here and as a tourist, it's not a problem. However, living here for a longer period of time means you'll have to interact with government offices, go to doctor etc, and that can cause problems if you don't speak any Finnish.
However, I personally live in a smaller town in the middle of Finland, so that's where my perspective is coming from. It might be different in Helsinki as there are a lot more immigrants there :)

@AlvaroB don't be sad, I am myself a chemical engineer. And I have been working in a factory and currently working in a university research group. It is absolutely possible to work here with very little knowledge of Finnish language. It will make everything easier if you can understand some Finnish though. But for business students or HR management personnel, it might be a totally different story.

Working in Finland without finnish skills is possible but will limit fields you can work and non eu citizens need to have skills on high demand fields with no enough applicants to get work visas.
