Yes - hi guys is just a more causal ways of saying hi everyone

depending on the social context. hi guys, would be great for a very friendly context, a teacher going into a room could say that, but one of the students shouldn't say it if the teacher is in the room.

I personally don't like "Hi, guys" when saying it to women or girls, but a lot of people say it here in a casual type of setting.

Hi guys is a greeting that is very casual. I recommend using this for when talking with friends. Hi everybody is also casual but can be used in more scenarios. Hello everyone is more formal and can be used when talking to strangers, teachers, etc

“Hi guys” sounds like you’re only saying hi to guys. I recommend “Hi everyone” because it is more inclusive.
