Yes, she is kinda famous. There is 50/50 thinking about her in Ukraine. Maybe cuz she performs mostly in russian.

1. She's Jewish
2. She speaks Russian and doesn't want to speak Ukrainian even when it is politely, only if she must do it to get money (like in TV advertisement, which can only be in Ukrainian)
3. When she is speaking, not singing, she sounds like she has knife in her ass
But still we should give credit to her that she didn't move to Russia and didn't start a career there. Ukrainians mostly think good of her. At least she's way better than that dumb chiken Maruv, who had given a lot of concerts in Russia and then went to Ukrainian Eurovision, hoping someone will let her to perform after she didn't even answer who shall own Crimea.

Она очень популярна и любима в Украине, она смешная и веселая, и песни у неё тоже забавные и заводные. Иногда бесит реклама с ней, ее очень много, но в целом она в тренде:)
