@Amableee Normally para is for a person or to explaining why you're doing something: Este regalo es para Alba. Estudiaré para aprobar

para se suele utilizar cuando es para alguien, es decir, para ti, para ella .
En cambio por es hecho por alguien, por ejemplo lo hice por esta razón, o el regalo fue hecho por mi

"para" implica dirección (de ti "para"mi) y utilidad ( lo hago "para" mejorar)
"por" idica procedencia ( está hecho "por" él) o direccón (es "por" ahí)
