Podría ser, pero castroso es una palabra fuerte, solo si tienes mucha confianza con la persona podrías usarla

Supongo que lo que para nosotros es castroso, ya es una palabra distinta en inglés, algo más como una ofensa, no solo “annoying”

la primera respuesta de @Arely_Cordero es suficiente y concuerdo con ella, con esas no fallas en cualquier conversación, aveces nuestra jerga puede ser algo fuerte por eso es mejor utilizar sólo las palabras que describan lo que quieres y la jerga poco a poco surge en las conversaciones

@MauNi exacto, a parte puede resultar ofensivo tener un exceso de confianza con otras culturas, mejor mantenernos al margen
