Are foods like gołąbki common in Poland now or has foods changed. I know foods like this are still common around here in the US were I live.

People still eat dishes like gołąbki, but I think they do it less often then some time ago. I eat gołąbki when I am visiting my parents or grandparents.

gołąbki are still very common however people make them maybe once or twice a year as they are very time consuming. in general, traditional polish food is quite heavy and fat and nowadays most people want to eat healthier so this might be another reason as to why we don't make them that often. I've noticed that polish people started experimenting with food and have become more open to other cuisines too. so yeah, we still eat a lot of traditional dishes but very often we just don't have time to prepare them and choose other stuff which is quicker to cook.

When I was in an Elementary School, I remember that my mom and grandma used to be making gołąbki pretty often. And now, I don't even remember when was the last time we actually had them.
