Every country has different kinds of speciality teas i reckon…. and i wouldn't say everyone drinks it but most of them do like drinking teas…. you can easily find some speciality tea shops on streets, and some posh people go afternoon teas to spend their whole afternoon… which is abnormal to people from other countries.

I agree with @keika
There are so many different tea varieties. If you walk into large supermarkets here, there is usually a section for tea which has a lot of different types that you can choose from! I would say that tea is popular but there was a poll which was recently done (I can't remember where from) which said that coffee is now the preferred and most popular beverage. Personally I don't drink tea very often!
