There is no difference in meaning, but in style only. Saying "I want" may come off as immature or even rude in certain circumstances. "I'd like to" is a more polite and adult-like thing to say.

@yuuurrii I use both. "I'd like to" when making a request, and "I want to" when describing my wishes without making a request, e.g. "If I want to do A, how do I go about it?"
