Je sais que « falloir » ne peut être conjugué qu'à la troisième personne du singulier.

devoir is a bit more formal,
"je dois vous laisser" is more formal than "il faut que j'y aille."
falloir a alone is more vague about who..
il faut faire attention
but
il faut que tu fasses attention = tu dois faire attention.
tu dois is a bit stronger though
- French (France)
- Spanish (Spain) Near fluent
"devoir" and "falloir" basically express the same meaning that you have to do something, but in a different way. "falloir" always conjugates with "il", while "devoir" conjugates depending on the person.
Example :
"Je dois faire mes devoirs." (I have to do my homework."
"Il faut que je fasse mes devoirs." (I have to do my homework.)
