Yes, you can say "ran into" meaning you just happened to meet someone. Either someone you already know or someone you never met before. But often it would mean someone you know.

I find that even news people on TV or the radio sometimes use incorrect words today. Plus there is proper English that one learns in school and then the everyday form of English that people speak normally. We use a lot of slang. Often don't fully pronounce some words. I imagine it's the same in most languages.

As for being in line you'd say "at the front of the line" or "at the head of the line" to mean someone is first in the line. If you said in the front of the line I guess it would be OK but it could be somewhat confusing. Because it could mean you have a line drawn on the ground or on the street, for example, and someone is standing in front of that line. Like he or she stepped over the line. Whereas if you said at the front of the line it would normally be understood the person is first in a line of people. Do you see the difference?
As for in the beginning or at the beginning let me think. I'll get back to you shortly. I want to come up with the best explanation.

"At the beginning is used to refer to the start or first part of something. It is usually followed by of. In the beginning means 'at first', and it usually suggests a contrast with a later situation. It is not usually followed by of."

The first book of the Christian Bible starts with "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." It refers to a beginning but doesn't necessarily imply an ending.  "In the beginning the company had only three employees and worked out of a garage. Now they are one of the largest companies in the world."  The company began and is till going on. 
At the beginning implies a start of something that comes before a later part or end. And you can use the word "of" to make sense. Such as "At the beginning of the book the main character was 5 years old."  "At the beginning of the school year the students were excited to learn."

"There hadn't been any warning before the earthquake struck." (The event happened. It's now over. But before it happened there hadn't been any warning.)
"There hasn't been an earthquake here in 10 years." (The possibility of an earthquake still exists. But up till now there hasn't been one in 10 years.)

"He hadn't been to work in over a week." (He's been absent for over a week but today he came to work. So the period of absence is over.)
"He hasn't been to work in over a week." (He's been absent for over a week and he still has not shown up for work. The absence is still continuing.)

If you say "in the beginning" it often implies that something started but hasn't really finished yet, or there is not a specific ending point. 
"In the beginning the company had only 3 employees but now they have 50."  (The company started at some point in time and it's still operating."
"In the beginning we got along well but after a year we started to drift apart."  (The couple started off well in their relationship but over time things changed. They may or may not have broken up yet.)

The best way to look at it is this.  For example, let's do the loan. For 1 million dollars. If you say that it's a million-dollar loan the word dollar is part of a two-word phrase "million-dollar" so you don't use the "s" at the end  It would be like a two-way street. To be welcomed makes me think more of an actual greeting when someone is coming to your house or you are meeting someone.  "They welcomed the new guest into their home."  "I was warmly welcomed at the door."  More of a specific event.  Used like a verb I guess.
To feel welcome means how you feel and how you are treated when a guest of someone. Or are new to a certain place or situation. Or are invited to an event.

Anyway, I'd say that technically the word "people" really isn't simply the plural for "person" in a sense. People is more of a general term for humans, or humankind. Persons would be considered the plural but it is only used in certain instances. For example: Say you saw a news story about a crime that was committed. The police might have someone in mind as a suspect. They'd say, "The police have a person of interest they are looking at."  If there were more than one suspect they might say, "The police have several persons of interest they are looking at."  
The funny thing is, though, that regarding your question about "he's one of the nicest __ I've ever known." you wouldn't normally persons although it would not be incorrect if you did. People would say, "He's one of the nicest people I've ever known." although you'd also say, "He's the nicest person I've ever known."
So for the most part it's person for one individual and people for more than one but there are some times when persons can be used instead. I know this gets complicated but I try to offer you as much detail as I can.  My name is Dane, btw.

I don't know of a rule that you have to use a plural after "any" because often you don't need to or can't because it would not make sense. In the example you give, however, either the singular or plural works. But that won't be the case all the time.
"i don't have any time to help you right now."  (any times would not sound right)
"I don't have any idea."  
"I don't have any fruit for my salad."

I think this is a case where if it doesn't sound right when you say it, then it's not right. Maybe not a specific rule to follow though.

And I tend to overthink or sometimes stress about a small thing that I encounter that simply doesn't make sense to me. Sometimes if I ask a question on this site, on the Hebrew forum, I get a simple answer that helps clear up my confusion or I'll get advice that I'm making too much out of something that's not that big of a deal. So I guess we are in the same boat.
That said, I think being fussy and detail-oriented when learning a language is a good trait. I want to not only learn the words, verbs, conjugations, etc. but really understand the concepts, the rules, the exceptions. Get a feel in my head for how they speak. The correct way is "Jack and I could be the judges."  One easy way to make sure you are using the right one is to simply say to yourself "would I work if it was a single thing?"  Meaning, in this case, you would know right away if you said, "Me could be a judge" that it was wrong. If you said to yourself, "I could be a judge" it sounds right. So Jack and I is correct.
"Me" is used when you (I) is the object form.  Example, "Jack asked me if we could be judges. I agreed and now Jack and I are judges."  Do you see the difference?  It's always been hard for me to explain this to others and sometimes to myself....

It is quite flexible. If you mean reservation(s) for a place, like a restaurant, you'd say "I got reservations for the restaurant." Or "at the restaurant." Either one would work. It would be the same basically for any specific place, like a hotel for example. "I got reservations for the hotel" or "at the hotel."
However you might refer to the place you booked the reservations but they are for someplace or something else.  For example, "I booked reservations for the tour at the hotel." Meaning while at the hotel I booked reservations for the tour we are taking of the city. So using "at" can sometimes mean the place where you made the reservations but not always for the place where you will use them. Hope this makes sense. 
You could also say "booked" instead of got reservations.  "I booked a room at the hotel." or "I booked a table at the restaurant."

I don't know if you are familiar with the English author Charles Dickens. One of his books is entitled "A Tale of Two Cities."  It's about the French Revolution. Anyway the opening lines in the book, which are often quoted, go like this: "It was the best of times. It was the worst of times."
Here are some examples:
The best kinds of food are the kinds I can prepare easily.
The worst kind of movie is a horror film.

Also we often say, "The best of luck to you" to wish someone luck or success. Or just, "Best of luck!"

I'm not exactly sure about the examples you have given.  If I change them a bit I can explain better.
It is a two-hour drive.  You use the "a' and the singular hour. Not hours. If you wrote it differently as in "The drive takes two hours." then you would use plural "hours."
It is a ten-question test.  Again, you'd use "a" and singular "test" here. If you wrote it "The test has ten questions" then you'd use the plural. I hope this makes sense.

At the end of the day means just that. At day's end I am still hopeful. Also at the end of the day can be used more figuratively or less specifically.  
"As long as I feel satisfied at the end of the day I'm happy."  This could mean at the end of a specific day, like today. Or just in general. At the end of the day in a general sense.

In the end is more general too. Almost like the previous example used in a general sense. However in the end can refer to the end of anything. Not just a day. 
"In the end I discovered I'd made a serious mistake."  We really don't know in the end of what but just in the end of whatever circumstance or experience being referred to.

So basically you can use either example you wrote.  It would depend, though, on what you wanted to express.

I completely understand what you mean. I do the same thing with my Hebrew studies. I suppose it might seem silly to memorize phrases but to be honest I think it's helped me. I find that down the line I might read or hear a similar phrase and understand it, or I may encounter a different sentence that has a verb or word from the memorized phrase and it helps me to better understand the new sentence. 
I would not do this as my main form of language study, though. I do video lessons and flashcards.  It's often on the flashcards that I encounter phrases that I don't understand at first but memorize for some benefit later on.
Just find a good balance between regular study and memorization and then I think you'll benefit from both.
BTW, the fact that you can so clearly and correctly even ask a question such as this tells me that your level of English proficiency is quite high.

Also if a guy is wearing a suit that is a bright or different color among a group of other men wearing plain gray or brown suits, for example, then you could say "The man in the colored suit" referring to that guy because his suit is of a color and not plain. So in this example colored would work better. But saying the same color as someone else's suit I'd use color.

It depends on how you want to say it. The first way, "For 100 years this tradition has been going on."  This works well. But if you use "since" you have to change it and actually mention the year. For example. "The tradition has been going on since 1921.  100 years ago."

Technically the second sentence is correct. Everyone is a plural concept word. So hearts needs to be plural to match.  However, I hear many, many people say it the first way.  Almost like we all have one, giant shared heart. Which we don't.  If you wanted to correctly use the singular version you could say, "that moment touched each person's heart."  And that would work fine. So the bottom line is you could say it either way and nobody would think any different. The second way is how I say it.  But I may be in the minority on this....

I am not quite sure I understand the last part of your question. But as for the rest. Anytime you can use "should" in a statement you could also change it to a question by putting the "should" at the beginning, like you mentioned. For example:
At a baseball game:  "He should have thrown the ball to second base instead of first."
                                  "Should he have thrown the ball to second base instead of first?"
A long line at the ticket booth for a movie:
                                  "We should have arrived earlier to avoid the crowd."
                                  "Should we have arrived earlier to avoid the crowd?"

It depends on what you mean, basically. The word level can mean more than one thing. Regarding a building or structure.  If something is level it means it's not tipped to one side or the other. Say you are hanging a picture on the wall. You want it to hang straight. You don't want it to be crooked. So you would try to make it level. Make it hang straight across horizontally.  The same can be said for a building or a part of a structure. The building needs to be level on the ground upon which it sits. A floor in a building needs to be level. A door frame needs to be level, etc. 
However you can also say a building should be leveled or needs to be leveled, or was leveled and it means to be torn down. To be demolished. So say there is an old building on your street that is falling apart. Nobody lives there or uses it. The city might declare the building should be leveled. Torn down. 
Or say there is a tornado that moves through your neighborhood. Several homes and/or buildings were destroyed. You could say that the tornado leveled several structures. 
But to respond specifically to your question if you use level to mean not crooked you would just say the building should be level with the ground. Use level and not leveled.

As for level, there is another meaning that is commonly used. Nothing to do with buildings, though. So I guess you could say night routine but it would be better to say "nightly routine" meaning the routine done each night (nightly) as would be the same for what he does during the day. As for "been so long we have seen one" this needs to be changed as well. You would say it like "it's been so long since we have seen one" meaning it's been a long time since the guy made and posted a video on that topic.

You are pretty close.  Firstly, you do have to say 1 million dollars.  The plural ending is referring to the million and not the 1. You could say "a million dollars" also and it needs the same plural ending.
Now for the other part.  It would be best to say it one of the two following ways. 
"Even if Barcelona offers him 1 million dollars he still won't come."
"Even if Barcelona offered him 1 million dollars he still wouldn't come."
They mean the same thing but there is a slightly different nuance in either sentence.

As for a riot or protest I think saying "in the street or in the streets, if more than one street is involved, would sound best. You could use on the street in a context like "there was a burned-out car on the street after the protest."
You wouldn't really use "at" except something like "at street level" which means on the level of the building that is on the street, or opens up onto the street. Example: The subway station was very large and had several exits on street level."
As for something like lack of trees, or whatever, you could say "streets" in plural.  
The streets of the city were wide and tree-lined.

Well, it is common that people would say "Those people speak English better than me" but in actuality they are saying "Those people speak English better than me do" and that isn't really correct. Even though people speak this way much of the time.  If you say "Those people speak English better than I" it's really saying "better than I do" which does sound correct when you look at it that way.
Another common example. If I knock on your door and you ask "Who is it?" I'd probably answer "It's me" even though it's not grammatically correct. You should say, "It is I" but that sounds so odd that most people would never speak that way.

IF you want to express how good Ronaldo is you would say, "He's one of the best PLAYERS in the world."  He's being compared to other players, either past or present perhaps. Or to players that a person has seen. "He's one of the best players I've ever seen."
IF you want to express that he's the one and only best player ever then you can say, "He's the best player in the world."  Or, "He's the best player I've ever seen."
So I guess the rule would be that if you are comparing him to other players, and out of those players he's one of the best, then you would say "players" but if you are saying there is nobody better or if there was never a single person better than he is, then you'd say "player." He's not being compared to others but singled out as being the best of all.

If you don't add the "a" and say a day of the week it normally refers to a specific day that is coming up.  
"I'm leaving on vacation next Friday." (Next week Friday)
"I don't have to work on Monday."

What I try to do is run a little test to see what sounds right. In this example try asking if this sounds right.  "Me went to school." or "Him went to school" and it is easier to see that they don't sound right. So it would be correct to say "you and I and he" went to the same school. Try the test now.  "I went to school" and "He went to school" and this sounds better. It's the only way sometimes that I can check myself to figure out the right word to use.

As for me I think I'd use the same prepositions I'd use with actual, physical games or activities. But to cost something (other than how much you paid for it) can be used when someone or some company, for example, does a study on how much a project or a plan will cost to implement.  The process of determining this is called costing.  And in past tense it is costed.

However direction can also be used when someone gives you advice or tells you to do something or makes a decision. Almost like a director in a play or a movie. So in this case you can use "at" in some circumstances.

This is a bit tricky because the way English is set up we tend to not always use the correct words sometimes. Literally if you were saying it you would say "someone tried to defend himself or herself."  Or if it was more than one person you'd then say, "They tried to defend themselves." Meaning you can pretty much say or write whatever you want even if it isn't correct or even close to being correct.  So in this case, even though I'm not familiar with the song, it is simply a matter of poetic license, as they call it.  To me if someone said, even in jest, they live on the west side of America I'd think they live in California perhaps. But in any case it's just song lyrics. They don't even have to make sense, really. 
In real terms, though, if I wanted to say where I live in my country I'd say it this way. In fact I moved from the northern part of the USA to the south. I now live in the south, in North Carolina. So usually people would say they live in the north, on the east coast, in the south, in the midwest, in the northwest (Like Seattle) or on the west coast. Just some examples.

But he was always saying how confusing English was and complaining, in a way, about all the exceptions. I have a friend from Mexico who lived in the USA for many years. @Shazil_Qureshi Well, they can mean somewhat the same thing at times. I'll try to explain. 
Firstly if you wanted to comment about seeing someone who is far off you could say either "I saw you from a distance" or "I saw you in the distance."  But it's also a matter of perspective too. 
I saw you in the distance means you were a certain distance away from where I am.  Say you were two blocks down the street. I was standing there and saw you two blocks away from me. In the distance.
If I saw you from a distance it's sort of like from the other person's position.   I was a certain distance away from you. It would be a more general way of saying that I was a certain distance away from you.  
And I KNOW you will read this and think WHAT?  Can it be that complicated?  So my answer to that is no.  Basically you could say either one. And they'd express the same concept. I would not fuss or worry about which to use really.
Now as for "at a distance" it can mean a bit different.  Say I was approaching a very mean dog who was roaming loose on my street. I would want to keep him "at a distance" meaning I don't want to get too close to him.  I'm staying over here and trying to avoid him while he's over there.  We also say "keep a distance" in this same context. Or "keep your distance" say, if you were at a zoo, there might be a sign that says this near an animal enclosure. So people don't get too close. Or if you were in a national park where wild animals roam free, like bison, you would want to keep your distance from them. Keep them at a distance from you.  
I know I tend to overdo it sometimes with my detailed answers. I hope I don't confuse you....

Really, you could say it either way I guess. The shop is on the corner or at the corner. However, as I often do, I like to share with you my preferences or my perspective on certain words.  To me on the corner means location whereas at the corner can mean direction. I'll explain. 
"The shop is on the corner at the next intersection."
"How do I get to the post office from here?"  "Well, go up to the next street. There is a shop at the corner. Then turn left and the post office is on the right."

It's a subtle thing and as I said you could say either on or at the corner for the most part.

As for walking.  If you said I am walking in the street that would mean you are literally in the street where the vehicles drive. "The man was struck by a truck while walking in the street."
IF you said I'm walking on the street it usually means you are walking along the very edge of the street but over far enough so as not to be hit by a vehicle. It can also mean you are simply walking down the sidewalk on a street but in this case we normally say "walking down the street" or "walking up the street" depending.  Or "walking along the street"

The little rule I mentioned, which you used, doesn't apply the same way here. And I think it's because of the additional "other than" which could also be replaced with "but" or "except" too.
So the me refers back to the other than, but, or except.  And in that case me is the word I'd use.
"Everyone else but me played games."  "Everyone except me played games."  "Everyone other than me played games."
This might be a rather flimsy explanation. It's a good example of how rules that seem clear cut sometimes don't seem to apply all the time or in the same way.  I hope I didn't confuse you.

Most English speakers today wouldn't know whether you start a sentence with And or when to use commas. In fact I think most people use commas much to often even when they are not required.

As for your question you can use the word studies as noun.  It would be like saying, "Concentrate on your exercises" or "Concentrate on your responsibilities."  
You could say "on your studying" and that would not be wrong. But in a sense using studying is a bit more specific. To me it would mean that I am actually doing studying right now and someone is saying I need to concentrate on what I'm doing. I might be fidgeting or not paying attention, etc. Studies is a more general term for what you are learning and studying overall. So if someone says to me "Concentrate on your studies" it could mean they want me to focus on my education and not focus on other distracting things, like sports, or dating, or hobbies.  I hope this makes sense.

@Shazil_Qureshi I agree that saying, "They have been our friend" does sound odd. To me it should be "They have been our friends"  or "They have been friends to us...."  It might just be the way the person in the show spoke. As I said very, very often I hear people say the wrong words or use the wrong grammar. Daily.
Again, to me saying "He made zero contribution" sounds better and I think it's even more effective. Stressing how poorly he played.  You could say also, "He contributed nothing during the game" and that would work. I guess it's OK to say "zero contributions" but it doesn't sound as good to me.
I give you credit for watching a British program. Which one, may I ask?  I often watch them and yet also have trouble sometimes catching what they say due to the accents and the different slangs, etc. If it's available I'll turn on closed-captioning to help me understand. 
I would say "at a time like this" but I guess saying "in" would not be considered incorrect. It just doesn't sound as natural to me. And yes, you can say "At times like this" or "In times like this" or "During times like this" and another way to say it is "At times such as this" or "In times such as this" and well, you get the idea.....

@Shazil_Qureshi I love your questions.  And my answer for this one will be more of a preference or opinion probably than a specific grammatical rule. 
I look at it this way.  I think starting with human/humans will work best. To me being human is an expression of humans. If that makes sense. It's not just a matter of singular/plural in this case.  Humans are all human. Humans are individual human beings. So if you say, "We are all humans" that is true and it means we are all homo sapiens.  And we are human. Meaning we all have the essence of being human. We have feelings, fears, thoughts, faults, talents, etc.  So being human is part of what makes us all humans.
Now with Christian/Christians I view it the same.  Christians are people who are Christian.  Each Christian person has similar beliefs and ideas, for the most part. There is a bond among them. So, like with human/humans, I would say that Christians are all Christian. 
This probably sounds silly but to me there is a nuance of difference. But for the most part, in your examples, you could say either one. 
But in a way we are all humans but individually each one of us is human. They are all Christians but each one is a Christian person.

@Shazil_Qureshi Well, in a case like this using crime in the singular is like saying poverty, inflation, hunger, etc.  Like when we say "the crime rate has increased in the past year" or "violent crime has gone down slightly."  It's just a general term. 
In regular speech there still is a place for crime (singular) and crimes (plural.)  
"Have you ever been the victim of a crime?"
"Yes, in fact I have been the victim of two crimes in my life. I was robbed once and also assaulted."

You might hear on the news what voters are most concerned about in a coming election. It may be things like "inflation, taxes, rising crime, high cost of college, etc."

You can ask, "Is the shop open on Sunday?" but this can also be like asking is the shop open on this coming Sunday and not is it open in general on all Sundays. Do you see what I mean. Say, for example, there is a holiday that falls on a Sunday and someone might not be sure if a certain store will be open on that day due to it being a holiday. So you would ask, "Is the shop open on Sunday?"

They can mean the actual physical structure - house/home - as in your example. But home also has a meaning that is not so literal. Not just the structure. But the life, family, experiences, etc. of living in a house with the family.  I'll try to explain.  
A family lives in a house. But is it a good home?  Is there love there? Security? 
Sometimes you might hear the phrase "a happy home" or "love is what makes a house a home."  Maybe "my friend from school grew up in an unhappy home."   Or "my life at home growing up was not good."  Or if you visited a friend he/she might say, "Welcome to my home"

But I think you could also say "looking back in my life" to mean that I'm going back in my mind to a particular time or event.  Not a general reminiscence of the whole life so far but recalling a specific thing.

One example where they use only one of them comes to mind, though.  On the news here, when they are saying the different ways that someone can watch or follow the news, they will say something like this. 
"Follow ABC11 on-air, online, or on any device."  So in this case on-air is a choice that probably wouldn't work if you said "on the air."  On the air would be more used for the guy who mentioned the ways to connect with the news. He's sitting at his desk during a commercial. Waiting for his turn to be on camera again.  The director points to him and says, "You are now on the air" and the guy starts to talk into the camera. Do you follow me?

I would also probably change it to "they don't teach it in school anymore and make it singular even though I'm referring to more than one school. It would be like saying, "that's what they do in church today" meaning in churches.

@Shazil_Qureshi I wondered if you were OK. I, myself, was away for two weeks on vacation and didn't have my laptop with me. And I didn't do this app on my phone. Then when I returned I got sick and have been under the weather for the last few weeks. So I am glad to be feeling mostly better now. I just started back on this site during the week. @Shazil_Qureshi To be honest I was not aware that the first way, using criticizes, is wrong. I tried to look up online to see about rules for this word but I couldn't.  So in my mind I'd say nobody would notice if you said criticizes. I wouldn't.  But could I ask what your source is about which is correct? I'm not doubting you. I just would like to learn the correct way after all these years of speaking English.  Sometimes even native speakers get things wrong, believe me. Btw, I'm feeling much better finally. @Shazil_Qureshi I started to think about how I would say it and I would most likely say "He's the type of person who criticizes others" so I never thought about a different way to say it.  I guess it's one of those things that isn't clear.  I'm sure, though, that if you were speaking to a native speaker and said either one it would be understood and not a problem.

@Shazil_Qureshi Yes, it's interesting. I have found that since being on this site I have to sometimes think about why I, or why we, say things a certain way. When the language you speak is the one you learned growing up it's often thought of as being "the way it is" and people tend not to question why.  And there are times when I can't say for sure one way or another. I too have learned a lot about English even though I've been speaking it all my life.

@Shazil_Qureshi IT does sound a bit odd although I doubt I'd pay much attention to it if I saw it. What I think makes it sound off is using two gerunds back to back almost.
Watching and getting.  Maybe one of these would sound better.
"It's sad to watch him getting old"  or maybe "It's sad watching him get old."
Of all the choices I think I'd go with "It's sad watching him get old" myself. I think it sounds the best.

@Shazil_Qureshi The alarm isn't sounding would be the right one. You could say "the alert isn't showing up on my phone" if, for example, you had a weather alert or something like that scheduled on your phone.  Hope you are well these days....

@Shazil_Qureshi I'm just a bit confused. I see only one "off" but one "of" as well.  So I will assume you mean could the host have said, "Do you try to base your game off that player?"
I would say yes. I think it would be OK.  I feel that "off of" would be better but in my mind the "of" is more or less inferred. So it could be omitted without changing the meaning. Regardless if you said it without the "of" nobody would notice or think it odd.

@Shazil_Qureshi I agree with you. It should be drunk. I know this is an issue that many people find confusing, including myself. It's almost like lay, lie, laid, lain, etc. 
I found this on a website that seems to make it clear:

Drank" is the past tense of "to drink." For example:
I drank my coffee too quickly.
"Drunk" is the past participle of "to drink" (i.e., the version that follows "had," "has," or "have"). For example:
I have drunk too much.

The thing with this situation is that technically you aren't supposed to end a sentence with words like "from."  In really correct English you'd ask, "From where did you get those pants?"  but I can almost guarantee you that few would say it that way. So to answer your question it is perfectly fine to just ask,'Where did you get those pants?"  You'd sound like a real native.

@Shazil_Qureshi It's funny you ask this. I was never much of a soccer (football) fan before. I didn't understand the game or the rules much. But I started watching some of the World Cup games and really got interested in it. It's quite a sport. 
Anyway as to your question. I'd say that "the Moroccan players" is the correct way.  IF you wanted to say it the other way you'd have to say, "The players from Morocco are like our brothers."

@Shazil_Qureshi For the most part you can say "fruit" in the singular. It can be singular or plural, like deer.  
"Do you want some fruit?"
"Sure, I'd like an apple and an orange, please."

@Shazil_Qureshi Well, on this topic I can speak from experience. I do have just one brother and one sister. So if I want to express this I'd say "We are brothers and sister."   If I had more than one sister I'd say "We are brothers and sisters."   You can also use the word "sibling(s) too which has no gender.

@Shazil_Qureshi We don't use kilometers, as you know. But it should make any difference here. If it was kilometers or miles this guy was referring to he should have said kilometers or miles.  Now one thing I have to mention.  I did know a fellow from a different state in the USA. Pennsylvania. He was from a very rural area and when he spoke of driving, for instance, he'd say "Oh, it's just two mile up the road."  He'd use singular when it would normally be plural.  So maybe the guy in the video was from an area like this where it's just a regional way of speaking. But correctly it should be plural here.

I would say that using "seen" is more natural.   To me saying seen could mean seeing it in a theater, like in the old says when that was pretty much the only choice. Or seeing it on TV.
Here is how a conversaiont might go.
"Hey, have you seen the new movie on Netfilx yet?"
"Yes, I watched it at home last night."

As for the question probably either watched or seen could work interchangeably. But to me I have a preference. Not sure if others would agree but for a TV show I'd do like you said. "Have you watched the show "Breaking Bad" on Netfix?" But for a movie I'd say, "Have you seen the new Tom Cruise movie?"

@Shazil_Qureshi Please forgive my other reply. I don't have my reading glasses on and I misread the word. I thought it said "comprimised" but it's "comprised" and it's not a verb. It means what something is made of.  Like "The meal was comrpised of steak, mashed potatoes and peas."  or "The evidence was comprised of one partial fingerprint and one shoe print."
