Passar = move forward, advance
Se = if
Se passar = if it moves forward, if it advances
"If it advances to the next round, it will be placed in this same group"

That is not PASSAR-SE. SE here means IF....GOES TO THE SAME GROUP IF HE PASSES THE FISRT PHASE.
