A la troisième personne du singulier de l’imparfait de l’indicatif, les verbes se terminent par ait:
Il mangeait, il aimait, il pleurait...
Mais il existe des mots qui se terminent par it et qui ne sont pas des verbes à l’imparfait.
Par exemple adroit, inscrit, arrondit, inuit...
