Yes , there are many active volcanoes in Japan. While they are fascinating, they’re quite dangerous as well. If they erupt, volcanic ash will collect in thick dust around the mountain and negatively affect human life and the ecosystem around it. However the source this ash came from is gathering attention as a renewable energy source. This could possibly be very helpful for Japan, possibly getting the country on its own source of energy rather than importing.
