Question about English (US)

‎Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.
I really like that quote and it's so true.
You know anytime you're in walk with something new. It's good to have a friend ,or a mentor, or someone to talk that walk with you, even if you're in the dark. Having someone there to hold on you, to lift you up, to keep you going, that’s so important. When you're alone in a day, you can be lost. You can not be able to find your way, but if you have a friend, someone to guide you, or mentor you , or to talk to, that’s so important. And that’s why as Toastmasters I think it's really important that when someone comes to our club that we need to really extend our hand, our friendship to them and make sure that they're comfortable with the room, comfortable with how we do things inour club. I just think it's really important that we mentor and be more than friendly, more than just faces on your screen. Really emphasize with them, and be a friend. Thank you.
Does this sound natural?
