I think "he opened her sewed eyelids" or "he opened her closed eyes" →彼は彼女の閉じた目(まぶた)を開き

I imagine that if he try to open her death body’s eyelids that have been closed, it’s impossible to keep them opened. So he sewed eyelids over the eyes to prevent them from closing. Couldn’t it be possible?
