@Babbaaabaa 'Childish' is used for say that an person is immature, that a person behaves like a child.
'Cartoonish' it is something that is exaggerated and comical but it is not an insult, and 'Cartoonish' also means that something is childly and delightful, it can not be a cartoon, it is not an insult, and it has nothing to do with a cartoon. For example:
You are so childish!
You behave so immature/You behave so like a child!
Really!, that explosion was so cartoonish
Really! that explosion was so like a cartoon
I love my cartoonish icecream
I love my delightful icecream

Thanks it helps. Someone told me that "knucklehead" and "bonehead" are "childish/cartoonish insults" and I wanted to know what they mean. Do you agree with this?

@Babbaaabaa Well, according to me 'Knucklehead' it is some similar to 'Bonehead', but it has nothing to do with 'Childish' and 'Cartoonish'.
'Knucklehead' means 'Air head' or 'Scatterbrain', 'Knucklehead' is more like joking rather than insulting, depending how you use it. It means someone who is a dunce or does something foolish
'Bonehead' means 'Dense' or 'Blockhead'.

Okay, thank you. Are they mild? They were used in the movie Big hero 6 and I wanted to know did the one who said those things insult/offend or was mean/rude. "What were you thinking, knucklehead?" and "I hope you learned your lesson, bonehead". I really hope that they weren't offensive, rude or mean

@Babbaaabaa 'Knucklehead' is an informal word that is used joking. Siblings might call 'Knucklehead' each other. And I think that 'Bonehead' as well. I've heard these words most times on films. They are not mean insults.
