Depends on the situation. You give me a problem here because выполнить is a very strong word and работу is a weak word. So.is your message strong or weak? Which bit of what you said is important?
If we only mean a job then I might say - I carry out a job. I carried out a bit of gardening at the weekend. Maybe I did a job. Whatever. Maybe it's not even a job, maybe I carried out a task.
But then you put выполнить on the front. Execute! As in chop someone's head off. Woah that's not gardening at the weekend!!!
A computer might execute an instruction. A soldier might execute a command. An Amazon worker might fulfill an order. A gangster might take care of a job. Execute a job would be a wrong translation. So I'm back to carrying out a job or doing a job.
