How to explain words with more than one meaning.
In Lithuanian there are words that have more than one meaning:
to go = eiti
to walk = eiti
to keep = laikyti
to hold = laikyti
to call = šaukti
to shout = šaukti
to dance = šokti
to jump = šokti
I need to put a synonym or a word in parantheses to explain the word. Please look at what I have written and change it if it is wrong or if you can think of something better.

Thank you. I should have mentioned that by "to call" I mean like to call you child for lunch.
So is to hold = laikyti (rankoje) good? (to hold in the hand).
