Question about English (UK)

In alternative questions (….. or …..) do we use the auxiliary verb in both parts or is it enough to use it just once at the beginning of a sentence? And what about other verbs?

E.g. did you make a pie and eat (ate?) it or paint (painted?) a horse and sell (sold?) it?

The sentence is very random🙂 but grammar is what I’m interested in😄
