Question à propos de Allemand

schwächere Höckerbildung / fainter cusp formation: a "Höcker" is a bump in something, a place where the material bulges upward or outward. So apparently, the insect we are talking about has a less pronounced bump/bulge in some place of its body than the other insect.
Here is one example of a "Höcker" - the bulge on a dromedary's back:

Other specialized words:
hirsutum - Apparently a species name, but I think it's incomplete - this word alone just means hairy, bristly or prickly https://www.online-latin-dictionary.com/latin-e...
Well, you already said it's a milipede, so I guess you have the necessary info.
Hinterzipfel/posterior lobes: A "Zipfel" is a kind of pointy, elongated end of something. And "Hinter-" means in the back, or behind something. This seems to be the "ending part" of an insect's wing.
Seitenflügel/lateral wings: Must be referring to insect wings. If there are lateral wings, then maybe the insect has more than just one pair of wings. Or maybe the name is due to the location at both sides of the insect.
Zähnelung/denticles: While I haven't heard this word before, going by my understanding of how we construct words, I assume this is the description of how something is shaped. The object described apparently has an outline that is reminiscent of a row of little teeth, like this plant, where the rows of leaves along the stem form a "Zähnelung" on both sides of the stalk:

Höckerchen/cusps: The German actually calls this "little cusps".These may be the same faint cusps that were mentioned as a general characteristic of the insect. They are located on the metatergites.

So in this text, I added the missing umlauts (ä, ö, ü) and put it into Deepl.com (because I myself am certainly not an expert when it comes to plants and insects). See below for the English and Japanese translations. I cannot guarantee that they are correct, but I understand the English text well enough to think: It seems to make sense.
(Sidenote: "hirsutum" seems to be a plant species while "Metatergit" is an insect body part, so I wonder whether this text really compares a flower to an insect?).
English:
This species, still somewhat reddish in alcohol, differs from hirsutum by fainter cusp formation and by more rounded posterior lobes of the hindmost lateral wings; the denticles on the anterior curves of the lateral wings are more distinct. In contrast, the cusps of the two metatergite transverse rows, which are very distinct in hirsutum, can hardly be recognized as such here microscopically.
Japanese:
アルコールでもやや赤みがかった色をしているこの種は、カスプの形成が薄く、最後尾の側翼の後葉がより丸みを帯びている点でhirsutumと異なっている。対照的に、hirsutumでは非常にはっきりしている2つの後腹膜横列の尖端は、ここでは顕微鏡で見てもそのようには見えない。

@Kimberson Sorry, I should have added what the text was about. This text is about two species of millipedes and what the difference between hirsutum and roseum. This is a text from the 1930s. I tried translating at DeepL, but I'm having trouble to make sense of it.
I am not even sure which are the technical terms other than metatergite. I would like to know if there are any words that you don't use in your daily life.
In millipedes, each body segment is divided into front and back sections, and in later, dorsal plate is called "metatergite", with lateral keels "paranota".
What I don't particularly understand is "fainter cusp".

@Kimberson I understand very well. There was no one around me who understood German and I was in trouble. Thank you very much for your very detailed information.
